Ms. ARISA KISHIGAMI JOINS CHRONOS SUSTAINABILITY’S GLOBAL ADVISORY NETWORK IN ASIA
Tokyo-based sustainable investment expert to provide specialist consultancy advice to Chronos’ sustainable investment programmes
London, Tokyo, 17 September 2020: Chronos Sustainability (“Chronos”), the specialist sustainability advisory firm, is continuing to build its global specialist consultancy network with the addition of Ms. Arisa Kishigami as a specialist advisor on sustainable investment.
Based in Tokyo, Ms. Kishigami is an accomplished and highly respected sustainability practitioner. She has deep experience of Asian and European financial markets having developed and advised on a range of high profile environmental social and governance (ESG) investment indices and ratings, and client engagement programmes on stewardship and ESG integration, including as Head of ESG for the Asia Pacific region at FTSE Russell. Ms. Kishigami writes regularly on global ESG issues and is also a principal facilitator between Japan and the rest of the world as a member of Japan Sustainable Investment Forum (J-SIF) and the Working Group for Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC).
Ms. Kishigami is the most recent sustainable investment expert to join Chronos’ expanding global network, following the announcement of a similar strategic association with Dr. Ian Woods in June 2020. Based in Sydney, Ian is an internationally recognised expert on climate change, and sustainable investment and founder of the Australia/New Zealand Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC, Australia, NZ).
Dr. Rory Sullivan, CEO, Chronos Sustainability, said: “There are few specialists who bring a similar strength of reputation, expertise and depth of knowledge of Asian and European markets as Ms. Kishigami, and we are delighted to welcome her into our global network.”
Nicky Amos, Managing Director, Chronos Sustainability, added: "The ecosystems, industries, companies, investment markets and civil society in each Asian country come with unique characteristics, presenting a variety of sustainability challenges. Our ability to understand the local context and to provide best-in-class consultancy to our clients in this region across the sustainability spectrum is critical to driving systemic and transformative change, and we look forward to collaborating with Ms. Kishigami in this respect.”
