Ian represents Chronos as its Climate Change and Sustainable Investment Specialist, Australia and New Zealand 

An internationally recognised expert on climate and on ethical and responsible investment, Ian has spent over ten years providing environmental and risk consultancy across Europe and Asia to companies and governments and nearly 20 years in sustainable investing in Australia. 

Much of his career to date has focused on proprietary research into the link between ESG performance and investment across equities, fixed income and alternatives, including real asset investments. Ian was previously the Manager of AMP Capital’s Sustainable Investments team focusing on the integration of ESG integration into domestic and international equity and fixed interest funds. Ian was one of the founders of the Australia/New Zealand Investor Group on Climate Change and up until 2019 held the position of Deputy Chair. 

Ian is currently based in Australia and is on the Coordinating Working Group for the Australian Sustainable Finance Initiative.
