An expert in project management and animal science
Elisa is an assessor on the Business Benchmark on Farm Animal Welfare (BBFAW). She holds a master’s degree in Animal Science and Ethics and has worked across Europe on the technical and policy aspects of animal welfare and sustainable agriculture.
During her time in the NGO sector she managed diverse projects related to improving animal welfare which led to substantive changes in dairy cow welfare and in the manner in which wild animals are used in the tourism industry. She has also served as an advisor to food businesses and investors on how to build policy, invest strategically and create business opportunities from improved animal welfare.
